If you have a lakeshore site, the showers and restrooms are a hike. Youll want to have your own in your camper. They have a dump station.

Minocqua is a great area with lots to do. Walmart is 5 minutes away if you forget anything. Griggs is the place for groceries. Farmers market on Fridays in Minocqua.
Tips from campers about Patricia Lake Campground
- MilesKB They NO NOT have shower facilities or laundry on site. Also, there are no dedicated RVr restrooms, however, there are restrooms in the Casino which is close enough if you need them. They have the coolest Dog parks I have seen. There are two adjacent gated areas with one designated for Large breeds and the other for Small and Medium breeds. I don't have a dog, but that seemed clever and thoughtful. There is also a great walking path along the train tracks. The tracks are only used by the local refinery, so maybe once every couple of days there will be a train. Check the site descriptions and pick your spot according to your needs and pay the $8.00 fee to reserve it. It just makes things easier. As I had done everything online, I just pulled in, got set up, and then went over and "checked in."
- Dog Island Skagit transit runs bus service to the Washington State ferry to the San Juans.
- JamesE24 Bring your bikes! You can ride the bike path all the way into downtown and bike around the town. Make sure you stop in the Grocery to try some muffins. And also Pelican Bay Bookstore! They have a huge selection of half price books and also a delicious little coffee bar inside. Washington Park is gorgeous and fun to walk around. And dont forget to go to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings!3 months ago Fidalgo Bay Resort

Tip for Other Campers:
If you are camping on the perimeter of this campground, have a back up internet solution. I believe they are working to fix this, my T-Mobile backup was not much help either. They do have cable hookup to all the sites though.

This was one of the nicest campsites Ive stayed at, clean, quiet and friendly people. A beautiful lake for fishing, paddle boarding, and canoeing. Paved roads, gravel sites, level sites. Would...

Tip for Other Campers:
Had no idea that northern Wisconsin has some many wonderful bike trails. The granddaddy is the Bearskin Trail out of downtown Minocqua. Good parking in the town for it. I rented an e-bike for the day which made the trail even more enjoyable. Found another great trail, this one asphalt, in the town of Minitowish Waters about 30 minutes north. We had a nice...
