Cute little town, no grocery store. Bring all the food and supplies you need. Watch out for the geese poop on the ground, it's everywhere, not good for kids wandering around.

Tip for Other Campers:
The town of Bayfield is incredibly picturesque. Take the Apostle Island Cruise to see the islands ($50 per person for a 2.5 hour sightseeing tour). Well worth it. The Mannypenny Bistro is a must for dinner and drinks, and the town is walkable. We were able to park our RV each day on Mannypenny Street very close to the shops and restaurants.

Tip for Other Campers:
It is located 3 miles north of Bayfield which has shops, restaurants, galleries and access to Madeline Island via the ferry which runs many times per day. It is a very beautiful area with lots to see and do.

Kayak tours within walking distance. Lake Superior weather can flip quickly. We were unseasonably hot but it could be cold, rainy and windy which would have made our site less desirable near the lake. Take the Island boat tour and get to Madeline Island. We rented Ebikes.
