“Office Empty and Dark Park with arrival at 4PM. ”
Arrived to barely lit campground with no staff to assist when website 11pm. We visited Kohler-Andrae State Park, no overnight stay.
Tip for Other Campers:
Overnight only
“Rip Off”
Nightly Rate: $72 USD
We thought the $50 per night with only 30 amp service was a rip off. In addition, we were charged $11 per vehicle-- an extra $22 because we chose to unhook while driving through Milwaukee's road...

- CurmudgeonAtLarge No campground wifi here wed love to see that as a future upgrade! We had excellent cell phone service through Verizon, though, so we were still able to read our iPads and watch TV at night, although we did have to bump up our hotspot plan to make that happen. We experienced a day of really torrential rainfall, and an absolutely enormous rig pulled by a semi cab came in at the end of the day and got totally stuck trying to back into its site. Everything had drained by the next day, so they were able to get into a pull-through site with no problem. Id say if you drive an abnormally large, heavy rig, definitely reserve a pull-through if the ground is saturated when you get there! About the surrounding area: We visited two local wineries Ingleside Vineyards and Backporch Vineyard. Ingleside is a beautiful venue with inside and outdoor seating and a very nice gift shop. Backporch is more rustic, but the real winner as far as our taste buds went a nice cabernet and interesting reds. Definitely recommend visiting both! Also, the Food Lion carries a small selection of wine and beer, and the ABC store is in the same shopping center. We picked up some fantastic North Carolina-style pork BBQ from Willeys in town on Washington Ave. - still on winter hours now, so only open Thursday-Sunday. I imagine that changes for the summer season. The Food Lion supposedly carries their BBQ also, but we couldnt find any when we went there on a Monday we would have brought some home if wed found it!6 days ago Thousand Trails Harbor View

“Nice Beach”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
Easy access to the park off I-43. Dont forget to add the $11/day rate for each day you overnight. We stayed in a pull thru on Marsh View Rd (when I reserved the campsite it was the only site left)....

“Not big rig friendly”

[Full time RVers] We were surprised to see the pull thru sites were on the side of the road. The only way to pull into your site is to do a U-turn in the road/parking spaces. This was not an easy task...

“One of the best”

Just an absolutely gorgeous campground! We stayed 3 nights in site 97 and it was a great fit for our 25 foot trailer and truck. Id say probably could have gotten a 30 footer in too. It was nice and...
