Great views.wonderful staff. Very helpful and friendly. All facilities were very clean and hookups worked great. We camped at The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hour drive into Grand Teton NP is beautiful and park is amazing.
Tips from campers about The Longhorn Ranch Lodge & RV Resort
- BTShippee Buena Vista is 15 minutes North and Salida is 30 minutes South both with great restaurants and shops. Leadville and Camp Hale are about an hour North and worth the drive.
- indurain Salida (SE) is a cute little town with some shopping - Natural Grocers, Safeway, Monarch is a nice hardware/farm store. Moonlight Pizza and Brew was a nice outing - make sure to sit at the bar and ask for Joe. Tell him the some interesting ppl in the bus say hello. Buena Vista (North) is also a nice town, smaller than Salida. Hiking trails start off at the park/rec field just east of town and get you up to a ridge. Recycling bins are also available there.

Eat at Nannas The Steakhouse and Cowboy Cafe. For supplies, visit the Ace Hardware store in town. Lots of shops to wander through.

Tip for Other Campers:
National Military Vehicle Museum is a must see. Make sure to take the tours. Both tour guides (one was the owner) had so much knowledge and so many stories about the vehicles and the wars they fought in. We learned a lot!
