DWFreidell Smithville is nearby and has a few restraints. Otherwise, this state park is dead as far as offering anything more than a campsite. Even the hiking trails were not maintained and over grown. Pitiful example of Tx Parks and wildlife not doing their job and maintaining these State Parks.
