- Weelyrd Eat at the Mouthful in Guernsey, visit the Visitor Center in town, go out to Register Cliff, walk in the trail ruts, drive over to historic Fort Laramie, drive through if not camp in Guernsey State park for a glimpse of great scenery and the historic CCC-built museum.

- DNJDIP The campground is 16 miles from I 25, and is easy to find. There is a paved walking path to oregan trail ruts with in walking distance from the park. Dogs welcome.
