We were delighted to find this little park tucked away in rural Kansas. We were in the area to visit Caldwell, and this was the closest park that we could find. We had the park all to ourselves, and...

Tip for Other Campers:

The town of Argonia is pretty much a ghost town, there is nothing really to do there. However, the Argonia Mart gas station, on Hwy 160, has excellent pizzas. They are also open for breakfast and lunch.

Price reflects the monthly rate, electricity was charged separately. The park was perfect for us, we needed a place to stay for a few weeks while visiting Albuquerque. The park sits up on the hill...

Tip for Other Campers:

Bosque del Apache is about an hour south, and it's a really neat place for bird watching. The Petroglyph National Monument in Albuqueque is also a fun day trip.

We really did not have a good experience here. The only positive comment that we have is that the sites were large with good separation between RVs. The Internet did not work for the majority of our...

Galveston Island RV Resort, at Galveston Island KOA Holiday responded to this review on 08/25/16:

Hate to hear you had a bad experience, sounds like you caught us on an off day. WIFI can be a challenge in every RV Park. We all want to stream video and an instantaneous response, we just don't have the band width to make that happen. Web browsing, banking and checking email is usually not a problem. We should have our shuttle van making scheduled trips into town starting October.

Tip for Other Campers:

We enjoyed walking on the beach/pier when the tide was low.

Marty's Landing has outstanding fried chicken.

Breakfast tacos at La Morena were excellent and only $2-3.

Definitely bring your beach cruiser and kayak, this is a great location for both!

This is a lovely little park tucked away on the bay side of the island, about 15 minutes from town. There are not a lot of sites at the park, and mostly long-term return campers during the winter....

Tip for Other Campers:

Beach access is just a mile west of the campground at Bon Secour. There are miles of beautiful beach to explore, as well as many trails through the park.Fort Morgan was a special treat, and Veterans/Active Duty can visit for free. There is an extensive bike trail system just a couple of miles east of the park, with the trails running for...
