The town of Scottsville is approximately a half mile away. There you will find several restaurants, a bakery, a few quaint shops, a bookstore/coffee shop and The James River Brewery.

Tip for Other Campers:
Venture out. Beaufort is close by with small groups store shopping and cafes and restaurants. There are many small towns with hidden gems. If BBQ is something you like, I highly recommend The Smokehouse in Mount Royal. A no frills Carolina BBQ.
