We stayed at the park during our trip but the town Fremont is next door and looks like at nice town to explore.

The site was nice 111 pull thru but THERE IS NO SHADE from 3 to dusk full sun. We camped at Monroe Co. / Toledo North KOA Holiday in a Travel Trailer.
