Tip for Other Campers:
Cape Flattery is a big draw if youre not fishing. The trail is about a mile. And this will be your cardio workout for the day. I suspect the top half of the trail is an access road, steep but driveable. The tribe put a lot of work into the bottom half where a lot of it is a raised walkway with steps. Nice place to homebase. Major railway and a steep downhill for truckers nearby make it somewhat noisy. Very green here in spring, and the center of the loop is huge with plenty of room between sites....

Im here for Maryhill Museum a mile west. Amazing. A ranch in Lyle keeps exotic animals, shocking to see a giraffe above the trees. The Western Air Museum in Hood River is really worth the drive

Tip for Other Campers:
Not a fisherman, but they were out there in the river constantly. Walmart Supercenter (a new one) and a couple restaurants, fuel, etc. Just off I-5. I was there to visit the Cedar Creek Grist Mill for a bit of scenery and history.
