“Lacking but Interesting”
Nightly Rate: $21 USD
I was in site 19 (Regular Loop-Not Equestrian or Astro-Pad). Better Sites would have been 20 (Privacy & view) and 18 (Pull-through w/view). Ranger Hours are 8-10:30 and 1-3. They are helpful but...

Tip for Other Campers:
Plan an "extra" Half-Hour traveling time as the road into the park (from its entrance) took me 30 minutes to drive (it is only 5 miles long). The park also rents Glamping Tents (large sized) and Astro Pad sites (zero privacy but lots of star gazing, if there are no clouds, or a full moon). Every necessity (food-water-gas) is a 30-45 minute drive, so come...

Tip for Other Campers:
Nearby Town (High Springs). O'Leno Trail Map says 5-10 mile trail is "green" and markers (on the trees) say so too, but the map at the Ranger Station says it is the "orange" trail. We got lost and the Map did not show every fork in the trail (some with three unmarked trails you could take). We were walking for 3 hours. I must say, though, O'Leno has some of...
Read MoreQuestion: Does site #2 have sewer hookups? I wrote down it does on our last visit but we site says nothing. Hard to get a person on the phone
Answer:
I apologize for not knowing for sure; however, it has been my experience that when a site is ADA compliant it usually has a sewer hook-up....
“Nice Park (had an issue this time)”
Nightly Rate: $24 USD
The Park is clean, welcoming and there is a Lake and many nice trails and the Rangers are Professional. This time we encountered something that we had not on our multiple visits before. The water...

Tip for Other Campers:
Nearest store "Dollar General" is a 17 mile "round-trip" from the Park entrance.
Question: Do they have sites for 43ft 5th wheel campers?
Answer:
Are there sites at Lake Louisa that will accommodate 43 foot 5th wheel campers? I found at least one site, on a quick check of the park...so "yes". The site is #60 in Loop C and it is a pull-through, making parking easy and the pad is 65 feet long. Happy Camping!...
