We heard nothing, though we do sleep with a fan running inside. We never noticed it when outside either....

Tip for Other Campers:
There are kayak rentals, bike rentals, horse trail riding, a swimming beach with playground for younger kids. What we liked best were the hiking trails some were in full sun, which was nice for our morning cool weather walks. Others were mostly shaded for the afternoon heat.
