“Well cared for, Near Town”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Campground was clean and quiet. Site was level. Nearby where walking/bike paths and the river, which would have been nice to explore if we had time. We camped at Red River State Recreation Campground...

“Quiet and Close to Glacier National Park”
Nightly Rate: $58 USD
This small park is close to the St. Mary entrance of Glacier National Park. We saw wild horses many times while driving to the entrance, and there are also horses in the pasture next to the...

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to have a breakfast on-site while there, the food was wonderful. Take the Red Bus tour. We also recommend driving to the Canadian Watertown Lakes park while there - the mountains look different from that direction!...
“Beautiful view and level site”
Nightly Rate: $17 USD
Was on top of hill, could see the lake in one direction and the country in the other. Very comfortable, quiet, nice breeze, staff seemed on top of everything. Would stay again. We camped at...

Great campground on the northern edge of the Redwoods National Paks, about 15 minutes from Crescent City, and it's a beautiful drive through Redwoods to get to it from either direction. Site was...

Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to go to Hiouchi Cafe across the street at least once! Great breakfast and lunch food. Talk with the rangers at the Hiouchi Visitor Center, they've got great advice on what to do in both the park and in Crescent City (beach). We went to Crescent Beach, the Lighthouse, and South Beach. Several tide pooling locations in the area....
“Good price compared to other places (like in the park). Good location for daily entry into the park.”
Nightly Rate: $116 USD
Book for reasons above. Found it a great camp. Clean restrooms, laundry and grounds. Doe elks wondered the grounds enjoying the grass. Staff very helpful, escorted me to my site and helped me back in....

Tip for Other Campers:
Did the Yellowstone in a day tour. The driver/guide as extremely knowledgable about the park and other things as he has work in many places around the world. Learn so much about the Yellowstone that I would not have know if I had just driven about looking at things myself. Enjoyed the horse back ride in the park. Driving through the Lamar valley in the...
