Question: Can someone provide directions on how to access the campground without going through downtown?
Answer:
The construction-path changes almost daily. Not all GPS show the construction. We went towards downtown, then went a couple blocks around the main crowd area. Still a pain and not any signs. That being said, it is small town and going thru the downtown blocks is doable, just slow and easy....

Spray yourself with Off before even stepping outside! Mosquitoes attack!!!!!! Very muddy, pothole entrance (temporary?)! City street construction, detour but no good signage and gps didnt get us there...
