We use our T mobile phone purely as a hotspot for our Roku. For that purpose it worked very well. Your in a large urban area so all the coverages were good....

We were there for a concert at the amphitheater and to visit family, so we didn’t go to the beach. I’m not sure if they have a designated lot at the beach, but they DO have a shuttle service to the oceanfront. I hope this helps....
