Tip for Other Campers:
The first weekend the town of Trout Lake hosts Oktoberfest, with the funds raised going to the high school scholarship fund. This is a fun event with the typical german potatoes, baked beans, and brats, along with fresh pressed cider and brews. Great desserts are available too. It's a very casual setting. Fun to people watch.
