“Great spot to overnight”

Coming from the north the entrance to park is a bit tricky as you have to drive by and u-turn back. Great camp ground. Owner is top notch We camped at Wendy Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
To get here dont trust your GPS. EXIT the freeway and go east. Then after the fish hatchery turn south over dam and continue south across the dam. On the other side or dam you will come to sign directing you to camp ground

Just a few block off Hwy 59. Lots less congested area then by the beach but still only 10 minutes from beach. Lots of restaurants and places to shop minutes away. We camped at Anchors Aweigh RV...

The side street doe not have a traffic light. So trying to head north when leaving camp during bust times is hard with an Rv and even for a car. But you can head west from camp and go to stop sign then north to 20 and turn right catching the light there
