Wooded we were at Beautiful area Its way back abt 10 miles on a dirt road But worth the trip. Peaceful Quiet We camped at Black Hills National Forest Cook Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a no wake lake. Dry camping but you can have generators 2 dollar per pet fee.

Some spacious ours was very much in the beautiful forest tight fit our spot Reserve. We camped at Black Hills National Forest Cook Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
Pet fee friendly host navigation kind of tricky you will go 10 miles on a gravel road and go further to get to entrance but well worth it
Spacious, well maintained, and waterfront with a nice beach area in different areas of park. We stayed in Hat Creek campground. Which is one of Five campgrounds. Has room for big rigs at Hat Creek....

Great small historic town of Hot Springs isn't far away Dinosaur dig site, Custer State Park and Wildlife Loop. Plenty to see and do.
