Everyone here is so friendly. We stayed for a month and decided to do an annual stay. That makes our daily cost for camping here at $16.43. We pay extra for electric. There is no tent camping allowed....

Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience! We're so glad to hear that you’ve enjoyed your time here and have decided to make it an annual tradition. With such a great deal on the daily camping cost, it sounds like a perfect long-term spot. It’s also fantastic to hear that the fishing, special events, and welcoming atmosphere of the park have made such an impact. The friendly community really does set this place apart! We’re happy to know you’ve found lasting friendships here and that you’re looking forward to many more years of great memories. Plus, with the convenience of nearby shopping and dining options, it seems like the perfect spot for a relaxing stay. We hope your future visits continue to be as enjoyable as your first, and we’re excited to have you as part of the community!

We had a pull thru site easy to get in with our 35 5th wheel. 30/50 amp service and water. Dump station on the road out easy to get in and out of. Cabins are also available, we did not use. Lots of...

We had a pull thru site, all are paved with water and electric. The roads are narrow, but we made it through with our 35 ft 5th wheel. Glad we had the pull thru as there are trees to contend with....

Tip for Other Campers:

Only thing we didnt like was the route from the interstate 77 at Mittford to the campground was very bumpy, like washboard. But going out to interstate 77 to Ridgeway the road we followed was so much better. So advice is dont take the first exit on the southbound side of interstate 77.

Danice answered a Question for O'Leno State Park in High Springs, FL
10 months ago

Question: How strict and limiting are the site size limits? Our RV is 32' 11". Is there enough wiggle room to accommodate in the 30' and under sites or are we limited to the 30+ sites? We are noobs, so apologies if this is an obvious answer. Thanks in advance!

Answer:

Some sites may have wiggle room, I would view the pictures on the web site. If it says 20 ft it’s probably not a good idea , but if it say 30 or 35 then I would say it is good. The one thing in O’Leno campground is the pot holes and trees. You Might better know trailer height for low trees or branches, etc, They aren’t strict on the reserving side of it or checking in side for length. I think they just figure that you would know if you fit....
