Tip for Other Campers:
Ice & firewood available at entrance during posted hours. Approx 1 mile to get to highway. At the highway is small general store associated with an adjoining campground for some supplies. Walmart in Potsdam; Tupper Lake has fast food and other restaurants, laundry, hardware store; Wild Center is recommended.

Tip for Other Campers:
Weis grocery store w/ gas/diesel was conveniently nearby. Campground info states: there is a RV dealer/service/parts nearby- nice to know if one needs something. There are shops/stores nearby in Selinsgrove; about an hour away from Williamsport PA. Would stay longer and explore the area on another trip.

Take a pony tour- we enjoyed Daisy Island Cruise (walking distance from campground too!). Saw ponies, Bald Eagle and various other water fowl. Boat crew shares much info about the ponies and area.May see ponies on road into/out of Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge at the Pony Overlook- when they happen to be there.
