Question: Were interested in staying here for the month of January, is it a good choice for long term stay?
Answer:
Personal opinion NO. I live just 4.5 hours from there and rv a lot. You will spend more time working on water, heat etc. Its a frigid place in winter. For what you spend on rv camping , grab a vrbo, stay warm dont take a corvette or the like. You need a good regular vehicle. All roads out of angle fire are quite mountainess and are closed quite regulary , for usually 2- 3 days. Never hardly very long. Before Memorial Day any where up that way will be snowy , cold , wet. Pretty views ....
Question: If you stay in the CG at the park do you still have to pay the daily entrance fee?
Answer:
Yes. 70.00 for a st. Park pass. Must have reservations for day use pass or camping....
