15 minutes from Peoria. Easy access. The Riverfront museum had a "Body Exhibit" which was excellent. Grandview drive was nice. Didn't know Dan Fogelberg was from Peoria. Small memorial along the river.

Tip for Other Campers:
The wine trail was lovely and Carlyle was a nice small town. Super Walmart in Carlyle. Really nice bike and walking trails by the dam.
