There seem to be a good assortment of stores and restaurants. Loves, Tractor Supply, Walmart, Chick-fil-A, which I didnt get to go to, so theres plenty of shopping and stores very nearby.Wi-Fi speed for T-Mobile was 140 MB per second.

Number one thing to do is drive over to Fish gap and get on skyline Drive. You can take it north and then cut across and back around to the park. Beautiful drive at your own pace.
