“Spacious, nice concrete sites.”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
It is far enough from I-35 to reduce traffic noise but closer to a train track. Other than the occasional train, it was a nice stop for an overnight. We camped at By the Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
There is a convenience store about a mile away, other than that fuel and food are 8-9 miles away.
“Noisy”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This is the noisiest campground we have ever stayed in. It is adjacent to I-80 and train tracks, not for light sleepers. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tiered sites with a good ocean view. Slight traffic noise from Hwy 101. We camped at Seal Rocks RV Cove in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Close to Luna Sea Fish House. Local Sea Food in Newport is excellent. Yaquina Light House is worth a visit. About an hour from vineyards in Willamette Valley.
