Blue Ox is a great hub for going to Albany, Salem, and Eugene. Its kind of in between everything. Also, the Walmart is a quick 4 minute drive away for supplies.

Check out the Maritime Museum, and watch the movies at the museum. Fantastic experience! Also, do not leave Astoria until you've eaten at Bowpickler. Its the BEST Fish & Chips money can buy.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Sea Lion Caves are just 8 miles North on Highway 101. Sea Lions are usually around from November to May I'm told. Old Town Florence down off of Bay Street is awesome. Lot's of treat shops, book shops, and other interesting kinds of shops. Great photo opportunities from this area with then historic bridge in the background over the river.

I love RVing with my family but also need to work while traveling. So can someone please tell me what kind of realistic Verizon cell service to expect here?...
