Tip for Other Campers:
Big enclosed area for dogs. Walmart close by in Cairo (pronounced Karo). Frisbee golf course. Gift shop was nice with useful items and good prices. They even make pizza that you can order.

Drive into and the park was hilly but our site was fairly level. Very pretty park with nice hiking/biking trails We camped at Lake Wappapello State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

HEB store and Walmart is a close drive. HEB store is very nice with interesting selections. San Antonio is only an hour away
