Tips:
Stay in the parking lot of a Cracker Barrel; 1000% better. Though I don't think a Cracker Barrel parking lot would ever be someplace I'd want to stay either.

Nice park, a little on the old side but it works. One hour to New Orleans and an easy drive from the highway. We camped at Abita Springs RV Resort in a Motorhome.

“Senior discount”
Nightly Rate: $19 USD
Nothing fancy, full hookups, decent bathrooms, under twenty bucks a night for a senior with full hookups. Gotta love it. We camped at Paul M. Grist State Park in a Motorhome.
