Tip for Other Campers:
Go to Silver glen springs, crystal clear water and we saw manatees. "Mr Mels River pub" has wonderful lasagne. "Idle a while" is a great place to have food and watch a football game.
Question: How close is a bike trail from resort
Answer:
If you take the trail out of the campground - at the end of the trail you cross the street and you are on the state park bike path. You can avoid riding on the main road completely....

Tip for Other Campers:
Head to the lodge at Wakulla springs and take the boat ride. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it. Red Pirate and Blue parrot are great neighborhood places that are dog friendly. St George beach is a great place to walk, hangout, as is Carrabelle beach.

St George Island has a beautiful dog beach, Aunt Ebby's ice cream and the Blue Parrot for dinner. Appalachicola is a must see as is the bike path at Panacea (or start at SopChoppy)
