Question: Staying here in a pull-thru site soon in a 40' motorhome towing our car. It looks like we enter through the gate and turn left, then follow around to pull into our site. When leaving, is the roadway wide enough to turn-right out of our site, without disconnecting the car and proceed to the exit? Or must we turn-left out of our site and turn right to exit through the gate? Better to connect the toad outside the RV park?
Answer:
We were in Pull Through Site #10. Sites angle to the left, but exit is to the right. Park was full, so no way we could turn right out of the site with tow (40ft class A). Decided to just back out and then connect near exit....
Question: Are there any restaurants within walking distance?
Answer:
Yes, short walk to Taco Bell to the West. Short 5-10 minute drive into town or to the main highway exit with large gas station convenience stores....
“Forest setting in Flagstaff”
Nightly Rate: $89 USD
Standard KOA in a forested setting. Gravel sites, some more level than others (after stabilizers down, we still had excess slope towards front). Nice people inside changed us to an end site because...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you're class A and towing, better to just disconnect on way in/out and not worry about the trees, and kids riding bikes, etc. Big areas to reconnect near entrance, and met some nice people while hooking up. Starlink is difficult here with many tall trees, but cell reception is good and our Inseego Mifi router could stream TV.
“A most patriotic park heading east from Flagstaff”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
This park gets high marks for being the most patriotic park in "The Most Patriotic Small Town". Long pull through spots, but a little close together for some people (I didn't mind, met the neighbor...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit the El Rancho Hotel for some great movie western history, Route 66 souvenirs, neat architecture, good restaurant (Chicken Mole was stellar), and a super cool bar with stained glass windows of old western scenes. The Veterans memorial in town is worth a visit, as well as dozens of murals.
“Very safe, spacious, and well designed park.”
Nightly Rate: $66 USD
This is the best site to see Albuquerque, albeit about 20-30mins into town. Park is behind the large Route 66 Casino, fully gated, security on site, and helpful staff. We'll stay here anytime we're...

Tip for Other Campers:
Sandia tram is a must do - spectacular views from 10,000ft.Central Grill for top notch Chilequilles - gotta go for "christmas style" (both red and green chili on top).Cocina Azul for the best New Mexico dinner - Adovado Enchiladas christmas - perfectly spicy and the housemad chips & salsa is stellar. Dinner comes with desert, so save some...
