Yes. I'M sure they're very expensive. The cost of living is very high. I ordered takeout from a Chinese restaurant, your usual combination plate of General Toas chicken, egg roll, and fried rice and it was $45. In Mississippi or Arkansas, the same dish would be $11. There's also a very large French Canadian population. The roads are paved in GOLD. Well, not really. But many of the driveways appear to be marble or granite. Most RVs are high-end. And lots of Porsches and Mercedes. Even the golf carts are nicer than a lot of cars. If you can afford it, I'm sure it's a great place to live, full-time or part-time....

I don't know specifically about Walnut Grove, but I've stayed in over 50 parks and almost all of them have extended stays. Many have signs out front that advertise weekly, monthly, or long-term spots. One place I looked at that would have cost $1200 if you paid the DAILY RATE for a whole month, was $500 when you booked the same amount of time for the MONTHLY RATE! The place we're at now actually has fences dividing the park into sections, with the long-termers in their own section in the back. I would call them directly or check their website....
