Tip for Other Campers:
There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant just down the road which was good, and basic road stop amenities nearby. There's a Raceway fuel stop nearby and a big rig diesel stop at the interstate exit.

Restaurant wasn't open, bring what groceries you need with you. The machines are tight and you have to wear a mask at the tables but not throughout the casino.

Within walking distance to Colleton State Park - an easy walk to the river and back; about 1 1/2 hrs to Huntington State park - a great area and leashed pet friendly with nice beaches, about an hour to Charleston/Summerville area and the historic plantations. The Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar in Summerville has great food in the cute downtown district!

This park is difficult to review without bias. We spent 4-5 months there and it served as our winter home. If you're looking for the busy, touristy side of town (Panama City Beach), this isn't it....

Tip for Other Campers:
Napoli Pizza, about a mile away has wonderful homemade italian food. Gary's Seafood Shack has very good seafood. Uncle Ernie's in old downtown Panama City is great for a dinner night out Take a drive to Apalachicola and have lunch at the Half Shell Dockside restaurant.
