“Great views of the Lake!”
Nightly Rate: $48 USD
This campground is Electric and Water Only, but has a nice dump at no additional cost. It is perched on some hills overlooking the lake. The sites can get very hot and windy, particularly in the...

Tip for Other Campers:
There isn't much around the lake. But you can easily get to Jamestown and Sonora. Lots to do there. There is a hospital in Sonora, about 30 minutes away...just in case. Be mindful that some of the lanes are narrow with drop offs along the roadway. I have seen more than one trailer in trouble when trying to back in. I believe this was one of the housing...

Question: Are dogs allowed in the Moccasin Point Campground? How about trails?
Answer:
Dogs are allowed with a five dollar fee at this time. There is a 6 foot leash requirement, although they just want them under control and inside at night. There are bears, coyotes and big cats nearby, so be mindful. Rattlesnake signs are here, but I haven't seen any yet....
“Words cannot describe this special park”
Nightly Rate: $43 USD
This is my second time here and I want to make it an annual trip. There are so many things to see and it always changes. The campground is fantastic. Folks obey the rules and get quiet when they are...

Get your fuel in Pahrump, NV. Watch out for pets and coyotes. Dont let them off leash to become dinner.
“Peace and Quiet!”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
This park is on an island with a few homes and some full timers. We checked in early with no problems. They offered to assist with backing into our spot which had plenty of room for us, our toad and...

Tip for Other Campers:
We needed to take Hwy 84 out of Sacramento to get here. It has the only bridge tall enough to drive on (1411). The rest were 132-138. We are right at 138. Take your time, as the levy roads are wavy and have some low trees once in a while.
Not much for kids, so BYO fun.
