Tip for Other Campers:
Apostle Island boat tours. Lots of beautiful hiking opportunities, either exploring the Lake Superior shoreline, or inland hills and streams. Bayfield has a number of shopping and eating opportunities, with Washburn and Ashland to the south providing more of the same.
Question: Do they accept reservations or is it based on first come, first served?
Answer:
On the Arcadia Lake FAQ website they state that "All of the campsites at Arcadia Lake are "first come, first serve." We do not take reservations; however, we recommend you contact (405) 216-7474 for current occupancy and site availability."...
