We were not impressed with this KOA. It was very dusty, dirty and windy which I understand is not the KOA's fault but still..and no frills. The positive is that it's very close to the freeway...

Very nice park with cement 75' pull through sites. It was nice to be in such a clean park for a few days. Very strong water pressure so be sure to use your regulator. It's about 7-8 miles from I-90...

I have to say that I wish I had extended this stop for a couple more days because there is so much to do around here. We visited the Old Montana Prison in Deer Lodge, which took most of the day. Very interesting! Be sure to have lunch at the Cellblock Bar and Grill, but it is a bar so no kids. The Copper mine museum is a must. Lot's of history to explore!

Tip for Other Campers:
Last year when we were here we drove to see the Little Bighorn battle ground which was definitely worth the drive. This year we visited the Moss Mansion, downtown as well as visited the Pictograph Cave State park, which was about a 20 minute drive. We were so happy to discover Yellowstone Cellars and winery. Great wines and they source their grapes from...
