Ranger Lakes Campground - State Forest State Park

It has been 2 yrs since we were there. Can't answer about beetle kill. I don't remember any trails other than hiking. I'm sure in that area, there are plenty of off- road trails but not in the state park....

In 2014 most trees in the CG were cut due to beetle kill. Area was recovering with lots of lush grasses. Can't speak to your question regarding 4 wheel trails....
