The camp site is about 10-15 miles from Lafayette, just a couple of exits west on I10.East, about a one-hour drive puts you in the state capital of Baton Rouge. LSU college, casinos, and the Mississippi river makes this location better for things to do....

Next to atchafalya basin swamp tours and 20 miles to Lafayette and Cajun country attractions...

It’s in the heart of Cajun Country. Lafayette is 15-20min drive and there is a lot to do & see there, Vermillionville is a must do! I would also consider a swamp boat tour in the Atchafalaya Basin which is close by. There are good restaurants at or near the Basin too....
