• Question:

I'm trying to figure out what 20' means in relation to loop B sites. My trailer is 17', but if you have to add the tow vehicle, we're then 33' hooked up. So will we still fit in the 20' sites?...

We stayed in Loop A not B, but I imagine both campgrounds are similar. We have a 30-foot trailer and a 20-foot tow vehicle and our campsite (A51, marked as 35-foot max) fit the trailer, the tow vehicle (parked a bit at an angle to the road) and had some space behind the trailer for a small tent that some friends stayed in. So it all worked. The real thing to know is that the roadways are *very* narrow. Very. In addition, there are lots of trees often very close to the edge of the campsites. We had a pull-through which I thought would make it easier, but even then we had to jostle back and forth to avoid the treesa lot of them are at the opening of the campsite driveto get the trailer situated. A51 also had a steep grade. Our hitch was right on the ground and the trailer still wasn’t really level front-to-back. This is all a way of saying: do your due diligence on the campsite before booking.Acadia is wonderful!! Enjoy....
