I wish I could tell you but can’t because it was our first time in our new fifth wheel and we chose a drive through site. I can tell you that the park is very nice and the rustic restaurant is excellent.!...

We spent four glorious months at Linger Lodge, December 2022 - March 2023. I loved everything about it, and put a deposit on winter 2023-2024 but my husband got ill so we no longer RV. To answer your question, the River sites are much more desirable, but probably much more expensive. (Worth it, though.) We had a 34-ft. Motor home, and at first we opted for a back-in site on the River perimeter that faced south. The sun was so intense that we switched to an INTERIOR River site that faced north. This solved the problem of too much solar heat. Wish I could remember the exact site numbers....

The river sites are not worth the extra money. You have a river behind you in theory but most of the sites you can’t see it; you are up against tall vegetation. Depending on the site and your rigs configuration keep in mind they have street lights that can blare into your window. The jungle sites are just open with grass around. Some seem to age a little more room. Watch for the sites on the edges of the property....
