Been camping all my life and not the fancy rv park type people....

Pine creek Campground Newfield (near Ithaca) NY is an avg campground, nothing fancy for sure. Good base camp when exploring the Finger Lakes area. Some site you park right on the grass, others have a gravel pad. Can't address the mud-hole during raining season, never rained while I was there. 2 restroom/shower buildings. I recommend using the one adjoining the pool. The other was in terrible shape needed to be torn down and rebuilt. Campground was not well kept, was there several days and never saw anyone doing any maintenance or cleaning of restrooms. That was long time ago, might have changed for 2025 though. Camped in site #83 on the grass and roomier area - less crowded read my review - Park OK Restroom/showers terrible bad need of TLC - Trip Advisor page 2 and review in RV Life under Date of Stay: Nov 2016 DIDO and my photos near the end of gallery 8 years ago...
