We saw all types of RVs coming across on the ferry (fifth wheels, Class A towing, etc.). They even loaded semi's with trailer for the trip across. We actually had two of those on the inside of us during one of our trips....

We have used the ferry system around Galveston with motor homes and toads. I have seen 5th wheels on there. My thought, having had one, would to be sure you have plenty of clearance from the 5th wheel tongue and your trucks bed rails. There can be some steeper inclines on the ramps getting on and off the ferry....

Yes we rode the ferry with our 38’ class a pulling our car. It was our first ferry ride. It was easy and fun....

I took a 38ft motorhome, towing a jeep, so you should be fine.......
