    The low price makes me a bit hesitant with most county/state parks charging around $50. Any reason to be concerned about the neighborhood or transients or...? Is there a camp host?...

      There is a camp host but our guy wasn’t much help when our breaker blew. The CG is tucked down in a small canyon and is pretty but the town around it is pretty dismal looking. I think you’ll be fine at CG itself but the town itself is really rundown. But there’s no other CGs. We cut our stay from 2 to one night....

      There is a camp host. It was not a bit creepy as there were many RVers all around, many travelers just like us. We took a hike through the day area, and it was full of local picnickers, none of them seemed to be shady. Up above on the highway the neighborhood is full of factories as I recall....

      Never stayed at a city/county park that charged $50. They are always reasonable prices. Didn't feel unsafe. There was host up in the front part, but we never talked to them. Only problem I recall was bathroom door wouldn't lock and knob kept falling off. We reported it and it didn't get fixed. We didn't find the town to be run down-enjoyed the falls and bike riding....
