You can walk a section of the trail about 2 miles to Dodge City...

Byrd’s Branch is an Elkin address. While we did not eat in town, there is a reasonable variety of restaurants in the town of Elkin. It is about a 15 minute drive from the campground. As parking in town might be an issue, you might want to drop off the RV and then head to town for food. Enjoy Byrd’s Branch and don’t miss the opportunity to hike to the vineyard. Very nice place....
