Tue Mar 10 2020We are in the process of planning a trip in April. I work remote and plan on working while on the trip so cell coverage and wifi are pretty important to me. I see Verizon does have signal there but does anyone have specific experience? Is the signal good enough to actually use the data and voice for business? Is the wifi usable? Thanks...

It’s a KOA in the smokie mtns. It’s in a valley a few miles out of town. We normally use our Verizon phones to communicate during setup but couldn’t connect. Reason we bought walkie talkies as backups. The park WiFi exists but the weekend warrior crowd they attract suck up the bandwidth streaming movies and playing games. OkIf you work at 4 am. Ymmv. It if you need to work then it might be a challenge....

WIFI is very weak with no phone reception thru AT&T. I have no experience with Verizon...

The entire old WI-FI system has been removed and a brand new system has been installed. This system is great and has enough bandwidth for everyone. It’s a managed system so it is monitored 24/7 and if there is a problem it is fixed quickly, plus you receive a card at check in that has the telephone number of the support line to report any issues....
