• Question:

Are there any "better" RV sites? I can't tell the location of the sites by looking at their site map. We do not tow. We have a dog. We are a 32' motorhome. I've read the reviews and they look scary. Just planning on 2 days there....

The sites along the building or the sites along the rear fence are the best ones. The campground is unusual. Just accept it and enjoy the locataion....

This RV park is just a carpark with bathroom amenities, gym and a laundry. Nothing special but the location is FANTASTIC!!!!! Just a short walk to the all day ferry over to New York. Local to shops and right on the marina. Not sure about the dog but the size of your RV wont be a problem...

Not really. In my opinion they all pretty much are the same. Gravel, extremely close together, with sketchy power, and over priced. The only good thing is the location to NYC. I wouldn't call it scary, but the park itself is not memorable. Go for the experience of NYC, but the park is not....

In my view, all of the sites are about the same. People stay here for the proximity to New York; any time spent in the RV is with window shades down and curtains drawn. I recommend you plan on spending maximum time in NYC, and maybe take the dog along with you. We even did one overnight in a NYC hotel so we could go to a play and not worry about getting back to the RV late....

If the park was not in the shadow of NYC, I'm sure the reviews would be much tougher, but the park is about the only choice you have to see the city. Access is through Jersey City and there tends to be alot of construction...but in your motorhome, none of it will present a problem. There is only a community dump--my recommendation: be sure your tanks are empty when you back into your site. Subway is just 3-4 blocks away-easy access to the city. Really a great place except for appearance, it's just a parking lot with electric and water hookups. You'll enjoy it. Ty...

Don’t be afraid to stay here, there is 24hr security. Also like said above the location is next to none. This isn’t about out all your outdoor furniture type of campground so it tends to get bad reviews. But if you use it for what it is then I think you’ll love it!...

We didn’t feel unsafe staying in this park. It is basically a place to park your rig while you tour the area sights. For just two nights just endure the shortcomings and appreciate what the area has to offer....

It might not be pretty but it isn't scary. I agree- go with the sites on the edges. We parked along the back fence where there was an opening to the parking lot beyond - it gave us a little space next to us....
