There is a Walmart supercenter @ 6 miles away. It's on the same highway as the park and near I-20. I don't recall any other stores....

There's a small camp store on site, but you have to go almost into Vicksburg for stores, restaurants, etc....

Dollar General is the closest just down Hey 61. 5 miles to Walmart Supercenter. Look at Google Maps for more info....

Not close if your walking, it's pretty hot and humid in those parts....
