Depending on the campsite, the river is 10 minutes or less away. The river is too rocky and swift for swimming....

I don't know the answer. The RV park is indeed a "resort" in it's appearance. It's very well kept and luxurious, and is very large. We stayed mostly just as a place to stay while visiting our daughter, and didn't avail ourselves of any facilities, including access to the river. In some cases the river would be fairly far from sites because of the size of the park. Some spaces are right on the river and access should be just yards away....

It's not right on the river, but downtown is about 10 minutes away and there's a lovely park when you can swim in the lake. But check out the pool area at the RV park also. Really excellent....
