We are booked for 2023 and curious if they are similar to the resort showers or more like a campground, do you have to pay, is there a trick to getting hot water, are there an adequate number of showers, is there a bench or shelves to put down your shampoo and towel etc? Also are there dishwashing stations at all? Thanks!...

In loop 900 the showers were adequate. They do not have shampoos/conditioner or body wash like resort showers do. They were clean, no charge (just magic band or resort pass to enter) many to choose from and a bench to sit things on as well as hooks to hang. No dishwashing area that I saw, but then never looked as we were in a camper....

All loops have access to what Disney calls Comfort Stations. Sometimes there will be one Comfort Station for two loops, but usually not a problem. They are usually nice and clean with a bench and hooks, as mentioned. Must bring your own toiletries and towels, etc. They are air conditioned and heated. I don’t think there is a dishwashing area. There is a laundry room in each Comfort Station, but we have never had to use the laundry facilities....

Yes many times. Basically a really good campground showers, although Disney has let them age a bit in the past few years. Never had a problem with hot water and maybe had to wait a few minutes a handful of times through the years. They have benches shelves hooks in all stalls. No dishwashing stations but laundrymats have a laundry sink typically....
