There isn't much to do inside in the area of Carrabelle as it is primarily a beach and fishing village...you would need to drive into Tallahassee, Apalachicola, Port St. Joe, etc....

We did go to some of the shops in Carrabelle to see the antiques and clothing. Also drove over to St. George Island to eat at Blue Parrot and shop at Island Dog...

We have camped here in December, March and April. The rain usually doesn’t show up, or it doesn’t last long. You can shop in Appalachicola, Carrabelle or St. George. There are a few museums in Carrabelle and Appalachicola....

Rare that the rain would last all day. Go to the beach just before dusk (Dolphins always out for supper). Drive over to St George. We live in Florida anyway, and know about the seasonal rains, but we're going to be in that area at the same time, despite any weather predictions....
