You do have to sit in normal traffic but you can come in any park entrance & get to Fishing Bridge. Traffic is the lightest and in-park driving is the easiest if you go in the South East gate via Cody, WY. Sometimes drivers have to have "gate reservation" to enter in a specific time window. You do NOT need it if you have a campground reservation, might have to show it at the gate....

I don't know what you mean exactly. If you're asking if there are long tailbacks to turn into the campground itself, not in our experience. If you're asking if there are long tailbacks at the YNP entrance stations, yes, there can be, with the West Entrance (IMHO) the busiest. But FBRV is NOT near any of the park entrances. If you've never been to YNP, it's a good idea to take a look on Google Earth/Google Maps and spend some time looking at the distances between the main villages and the sites you want to see. YNP is massive and the speed limit is generally 35 mph and actual speed will be much slower due to bear jams, tourons, and the like....

FB has its own entrance within the Southern part of the park off of the "park road". Plenty of parking spaces for big and small rigs upon check-in....
