Great question and the answer is not really sure they bike and hiking trails I walked in were not paved hope this helps!...

The Bankhead trail head is paved. It’s the old entrance into the park, it was shut down because of sink holes destroying the paved road. Running along side that paved trail are dirt paths used by hikers, mountain bikes. It’s a popular bike trail....
